Swedish House Mafia headlined the Coachella Festival in April alongside The Weekend and put on a great performance.
For Coachella and this year’s world tour, Araya Instruments, the production company in charge of the production, specially designed a DJ booth called “Mother Of All Decks (MOAD)” for the band’s stage. The MOAD was designed especially for their stage use and was unveiled for the first time at Coachella.
And what’s more, Oyaide NEO was selected and installed in the cables used for this DJ equipment!

Daniel Araya, head of Araya Instruments, the production company behind Swedish House Mafia, which designed and manufactured this special set of MOAD DJ equipment, commented on the Oyaide NEO cables.

The cables introduced to MOAD this time include two types of digital cables, “d+USB class S” / “d+USB class A” , a d+TXM class B audio cable, “PA-02 XLR V2” from NEO Cable, and the “INNOVATOR series” from new cables scheduled for release in June 2022, as well as a special cable currently under development.

The performance by Swedish House Mafia at Coachella, where MOAD made their first public appearance, was incredibly spectacular.
Unfortunately, the video and other images streamed in real time did not clearly show MOAD on stage, but I was able to picture tens of thousands of people at the venue going crazy with their music coming from MOAD, and hundreds of thousands of audiences around the world enjoying the delivery of their music.
Just the thought of Oyaide NEO playing an important part in MOAD playing the music they deliver was very exciting.
And of course, MOAD will be used as their special stage set on this tour.
The total number of people who will be attending the world tour will be staggering, and just imagining it gives me goosebumps.
They are truly a superstar DJ unit.Unfortunately, the tour does not include a Japan date.
After the pandemic, the world music scene is finally regaining its former vigor.
Swedish Mafia’s world tour is a perfect example of this.

Swedish House Mafia
Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish electronic dance music trio consisting of house DJs and producers, Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008.
They immediately became the world’s fastest and best selling electronic artists of all time and has been called ‘the faces of mainstream progressive house music.’

Araya Instruments
Araya Instruments is a company founded by Daniel Araya, who lives in Stockholm, Sweden, and handles a variety of products related to musical equipment, including instrument design and manufacturing, and analog synthesizer maintenance.
The company also handles stage production for the world-renowned house unit Swedish House Mafia, and has created the custom-made “MOAD” DJ equipment they use, and also works as a sound engineer.
